In a Word, Philology: Etymology, Lexicography, Semantics, and More in Germanic
I am happy to invite abstract submissions for the 7th annual
session of this name on any philological or linguistic topic within any
of the the Germanic languages, or comparatively between Germanic or
Germanic and other language families. Preference is given to a)
comparative topics, b) lesser-represented languages (for example Gothic,
Runic, or Old Frisian), and c) papers that address methodological
concerns, but any and all abstracts that fit the general criteria are
welcome. Please send proposals or abstracts of 200 words maximum to Adam
Oberlin (oberl024@umn.edu) by 15. September, 2015."

Autumn School in Ghent
In Ghent an interesting Autumn School takes place (19 - 23 October 2015). The topics are Medieval Law and Medieval Germanic Languages. Among the speakers are e.g. Luc de Grauwe and Rolf Bremmer.
